Adoor is a well maintained small town in Kerala. This city falls under the administrative control of Pathanamthitta district. This town is situated 90 km away from the Thiruvantapuram city. By traveling to this temple, you will find the deity of Lord Parashurama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu to worship here.     • St George Orthodox church- This church is located 13km away from this city. This church is recorded as the largest minster in South India. According to various historical records, it is found that this church was founded in 1810 by following the name of patron saint of England, St. George. The architecture of this church is the main attraction for the travelers. According to experts, this church was built by following the inspiration of different concepts, like Hindu, Christian, and Muslim. On the other hand, the towers of this church followed Gothic style.     • Parthasarathy Temple- While traveling Adoor, do not miss a chance to view it's most beautiful and ancient shrine, Parthasarathy Temple.     • Pandalam Mahadeva Temple- This pious temple is located on the bank of Achenkovil River. According to mythological record, this temple is counted among the 108 temples that were built by Sanayasin Khara Muni. This temple is dedicated to worship Lord Shiva. Apart from watching the image of lord Shiva, having Ganga at his feet, you will find other idols of Goddess Durga, Lord Ganesha, Maya Ekshi Amma and more.
    • Pandalam Palace- This palace is located 10km away from the city Adoor. This beautiful palace is the residential place of the royal family of Pandalam. This is one of the most beautiful palaces in located near Adoor.
