Copper Kalash is the most fundamental part of Hindu culture. Copper Kalash is used to offer prayers to GOD.A Kalash, (kalasa,कलश; literally means "pitcher, pot"), is a metal pot (of different metals like gold, brass or copper) with a small mouth. It is also named as Kalasha or Kalasa.

Sometimes "Kalash" is also called as Holy water pot filled with holy water and topped with a coconut or mango leaves. The complete arrangement is called Purna-ghata (पूर्णघट), Purna-Kumbha (पूर्णकुम्भ) or Purna-Kalasha (पूर्णकलश).
