- Chaubatia gardens- If you want to explore the hill based tree gardens while traveling Ranikhet, then this 10km away fruit garden is the best option for you. In this garden, you will find the rare collections of trees like apples, peach, apricot, almonds. Apart from these fruit trees, the collection of orchids in this garden will turn your eyes. In this picaresque garden, you will come across the wide variety of Himalayan flora. Inside this fruit best, you will find a fruit research institute, from where you can buy chemical free fresh fruit juice, honey.
- Sun temple-For many travelers, this temple is popularly known as Katarmal. This is believed to be the oldest temple of Almora, which dates back to 800 years. This temple is located 25km away from Ranikhet. This temple is considered as the wonder of architecture. By traveling to this site through the trekking routes, you will come across the 44 minor shrines nearby this temple. Due to its precious and rare kinds of sculpture works, this temple is now taken up by Archaeological Survey of India.
- Binsar Mahadev-This temple is dedicated to worship the Lord Shiva. This temple is located 15km away from the town. The main attraction of these temples is its peaceful surroundings of lush green nature and crystal white waterfalls. Here you will come across an ashram, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Jhoola Devi Temple- This is another ancient shrine located 7km away from Ranikhet. According to various evidences, it is believed that this temple was built in 8th century for worshipping Goddess Durga. This is considered as one of the most pious temple of this hill city.
- Sunset point- Watching the heavenly view of the setting Sun from the hilltop, is a lifetime experience for everyone. If you are traveling Ranikhet, then you can also treat your eyes with this lifetime view of watching the sun setting behind the snow covered Himalaya from this particular site which is located nearby the Jhula Devi Temple.
