Tirupati is a very famous Holy place in India. Some lakhs of devotees visits this place daily. The famous Venkateswara temple is located in the Tirumala hill town of Tirupathi in Chitoor district of AP (Andhra Pradesh). This temple is around 138km away from Chennai, 600km away from Hyderabad and 291km away from Bangalore. This Tirumala hill is comprised of 7 peaks which represents the 7 heads of god Adisesha. These 7 peaks are known as Neeladri, Seshadri, Anjanadri, Garudadri, Venkatadri, Vrushabadri, and Narayanadri. The tirupati temple is located on the 7th peak Venkatadri.

Sri Venkateswara Temple: This temple is considered as one popular ancient holy temple of India located in Venkata Tirumala Hill on its 7th peak. This temple is the home of Lord Venkateswara and an idol of him which is almost 8 ft long is present inside the temple. The eye of Lord Venkateswara idol is covered with Tilak made of camphor. The whole body is covered with ornaments. It is believed that all wish of all devotes to Sri Venkateswara are always fulfilled.

Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple: it is the solo Shrine of Lord Shiva in tirupati. This Temple is located almost 3 km away from the North side of Tirupati City. The popular festivals which are celebrated over here include Maha Shiv Ratri, Annabhishekam, Brahmotsavam and also Vinayaka Chaturthi.

Sri Govindarajaswami Temple: The Traditional architectural style of this temple made it a major center of attraction in Tirumala. The major 2 idols in this temple are of Lord Parthasarathy and Lord Govindaraja.

Sri Veda Narayanaswami Temple: The temple of Sri Veda Narayanaswami Temple is located in Nagalapuram having incarnation of god Vishnu in Matsya.

Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswami Temple: Besides the banks of the river Pushkarini the temple of Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswami Temple is located. This temple is dedicated to lord Veer Hanuman.

Talakona Waterfalls: This fall is almost 49 Kms away from Tirupati and is considered as the entrance door to Tirumala Hills. It falls from a height of 270 ft and is considered as the highest waterfall in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
