“Millionaires don’t use Astrology. Billionaires do.” -J. P. Morgan
And would be Billionaires consult ‘AstroDevam.com’®
The word Astrology has been derived from the Greek words ‘astron’-meaning star, and ‘logos’, meaning study or discipline. In essence, Astrology is the study of the position of the astral bodies and their effect on humans and other entities on earth.
However, Astro Devam® relies more on the word ‘Jyotish’, the equivalent word for Astrology in Sanskrit, which means, inter alia, Divine Light. Just like famous Hindu Prayer “Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya” (From darkness, lead me to light- Brihadara?yaka Upani?ad 1.3.28), the word ‘Jyoti’ (Light) in the word ‘Jyotish’ has deeper, higher and metaphysical meanings, for whom ‘Astro Devam’® stands.
Under the guidance of Achary Kalki Krishna, ‘Astro Devam’® strives for mental, emotional, psychological, material harmony of all human beings, which is the ultimate objective of ‘Jyotish’ (Vedic Astrology). Just to clarify our stand about Astrology, we beg to quote words of noted author Parmahansa Yogananda in his classic book ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’-
“Astrology is the study of man's response to planetary stimuli. The stars have no conscious benevolence or animosity; they merely send forth positive and negative radiations. Of themselves, these do not help or harm humanity, but offer a lawful channel for the outward operation of cause-effect equilibriums which each man has set into motion in the past. A child is born on that day and at that hour when the celestial rays are in mathematical harmony with his individual karma. His horoscope is a challenging portrait, revealing his unalterable past and its probable future results. But the natal chart can be rightly interpreted only by men of intuitive wisdom: these are few.”
With all humbleness, we share the subtle message given by the revered Parmahansa Yogananda and vow to fill the void in the field of Astrology, which is otherwise filled with cheats, thugs, and pseudo astrologers.
